Stokesley firm named best in business

Investors have given Stokesley investment management and stockbroking firm Redmayne-Bentley a resounding vote of confidence by voting it Best Stockbroker for Customer Service.

The financial industry award was announced at the Investors Chronicle/Financial Times (IC/FT) Investment and Wealth Management Awards 2016 last night (17th November).

It is the eighth year in a row that Redmayne-Bentley has received an award at the IC/FT Awards, having been voted to receive awards including Best Full Service Stockbroker in 2015 and 2014.

Neil Burniston, manager at the firm’s Stokesley branch in College Square, said: “On behalf of the firm, I would like to thank everyone who voted for us. To have been awarded such a prestigious award means a lot to us, and the fact it has been voted for by the people most important to us – investors – makes it all the more special. It is also testament to the hard work by our people across the firm, who remain committed to the firm’s established values, based on a high level of customer service, professionalism and integrity, which are at the core of everything we do.

“This year has been an extraordinary one for investors. Very few people could have predicted some of the major events that have moved markets in 2016, and further uncertainty is likely in the year ahead. Whatever happens, we will do our utmost to continue to provide quality customer service.”

It is the third award for Redmayne-Bentley this year, having been given the accolades of Best Advisory Stockbroker at the ADVFN Awards and Best ISA Provider at the City of London Wealth Manager Awards earlier this year.
