Market towns in the spotlight at Hambleton business event

Businesses from across Hambleton are invited to the area’s biggest annual conference to find out about future plans for the region and discuss issues and opportunities

The Hambleton Stategic Business Forum returns for its fifth year on Friday May 19th at the Hawkhills in Easingwold.

This year’s forum will look at what makes a successful market town, the challenges they face and what the future holds.

The event provides an opportunity for businesses to feedback on ideas for the future of high streets and for Hambleton District Council to share their ideas on  its Vibrant Market Town strategy for  the five market towns in the area.

Hambleton Stategic Business Forum is again hosted by Anna Addison of Anna Addison Associate- and co-founder of Thirsty Thursday.

Speakers include Johnny Hayes MBE, from Bishy Road Traders Association and winner of the Great British High Street in 2015, and Michael Weedon, previous director for the British Independent Retailer Association.

The conference will enable businesses to learn from one another, discuss challenging issues and attend taster masterclasses with sponsors including Teesside University, Colin Hutson Accounting Ltd, the Federation of Small Businesses and How’s Business.
